What a spectacular day. This was the most amazing magical Christmas that David and I have experienced as a couple. Seeing the excitement through Jacob and Annika’s eyes was unforgettable. Santa came to Grandma’s house this year and Jacob had to make it through 7:30 mass before we could head to Grandma’s to see what Santa brought. He did surprisingly well. We about died when he saw Grandma and Grandpa from across the way and yelled at the top of his lungs, “DID SANTA COME TO YOUR HOUSE”? I think the best part was he just did not have any expectations so everything was over the top. He asked Santa for a little people helicopter, a skateboard (scooter), and a motorcycle. He got them all. His prized gift was surprisingly a Trash Truck. Who would have known? It is pretty cool, complete with dumpster that automatically dumps trash into the bed of the truck, trash compacter and horn that beeps when backing up. Annika was blessed with her first baby and outfits and jammies galore. She also got a shopping cart that she adores. She knows exactly what to do. She puts her baby in the front and cruses around the house loading anything in her path into the back. Christmas was perfect this year. We were able to spend it with family and friends and we feel so blessed and loved.
