I almost can not believe it but Ken is Married. Ken and Julie had the most adorable back yard wedding at my parents house. It was quaint and intimate and absolutely perfect for Ken and Julie. What a celebration and for good reason!! Ken found his soul mate and we could not be happier. Julie is amazing! She really does make Ken a better person and they just beam when they are together. Not to be too selfish but one of the best parts of this amazing union is that I now have a SISTER! David and I were honored to stand up for Ken and Julie as Best Man and Matron of honor. What a blessing that we were both asked. Ken and Julie are such incredible people and to be able to stand up for them on the biggest day of their lives felt so perfect. Julie was seriously one of the most beautiful brides I have seen and of course Ken did not look too shabby either.For all those who were not able to attend you can raise your glass now and toast with us, to the happy couple
"The Wedding Toast"
It all started for us in 1974 
When Kenneth Jon came through the door
With strawberry blonde hair and a cute freckled face
Little Kenny was loved and dearly embraced
He grew up in a tight family of four
But if you count all the pets of course there were more
Kenny was a kid full of fun
A great friend, brother and a great son
He sometimes ventured alone just a little too far
And one time he was even hit by a car
Despite those mishaps though Ken is really quite smart
He’s courageous, vivacious and has a big heart
To know Ken now though takes some looking back
To a time with our beloved Grandma Buckner in fact
Ken express interest in learning the bridge art
Grandma Buckner was eager for the teaching to start
Little did she know how much he shared her passion
I know a ear to ear smile would be her reaction
Ken embraced bridge and spread his wings
He attended games, tournaments and all sorts of things
It was at one of these tournaments that Ken’s life was changed
His heart was disassembled and then rearranged
For across the room was the most adorable sight
Ken’s heart beat franticly and he thought; She just might?
So asked he did and it took some convincing
Eventually she said yes but not without wincing
While at first Julie was not quite sure
Eventually she saw there was something allure
That day their great love had its start
Since then you could not pry them apart
Sweet little Julie McDonald was now a part of his being
The first girl he thought was ever worth seeing
Julie grew up in a great family of five
With two older brothers who kept things alive
Julie’s gentle blue eyes could always melt anyone’s heart
But now just as Ken; She has perfected the art
It is extremely hard to describe Julie well
It honestly feels like there is so much to tell
She is truly an amazing sister, daughter and friend
She is a person who gives without question or end
She holds her family and friends close and tight
To know her is to feel loved by all her might
It is no wonder Ken fell head over heals
And is now able to express more how he feels
Julie has given us a Ken we never knew
Who’s hugs and I love yous are no longer few
We feel so grateful for their true love
It could only have come from heaven above
So please join us to raise your glass
To this beautiful couple who has so much class
Here’s to Ken a great husband he’ll be
And whose love for Julie is amazing to see
Here’s to Julie our new daughter, sister, auntie and friend
